Terminal Market - April 10, 2012

There are a number of different markets throughout León, two of which are convenient for us to shop at.  The Central market is located behind the Cathedral and is within walking distance for us. However, many tourist go there and the prices tend to be a little higher for locals and gringos alike.

The Terminal market is a bus ride away for us and only takes between 5 and 10 minutes to get to. It is called the Terminal market because it is where the terminal for the buses is located.  This is a large, sprawling, open-air market where you will find all the freshest fruits and vegetables along with all sorts of household goods.
