León is getting a face-lift!

In recent months we have noticed a lot of activity downtown as well as in the barrios. It seems as though the city is getting a long needed face-lift. The Central Park in front of the Cathedral has been blocked off to the public and the concrete has all been removed along with a few of the older trees.

Here in Barrio Guadalupe (as well as other parts of town) we are thrilled that some of the road dangers have been fixed with the run-off grates being replaced so that there aren't gaping big holes to fall into.....


 


Roads are being patched.....

And there seems to be a new focus on tourism with these signs being posted in a number of locations through out the city
